What is Palmini linguine?
Palmini linguine is a brand of keto pasta noodles that are made from the heart of palms so there is no flour or other ingredients involved. There are other brands but this is the most popular right now.
It’s cooked and cut to resemble pasta and it has great texture and a mild taste. However it has just 3-4 grams of net carbs, compared to 39.6g net carbs in regular pasta. (source) So it makes a great keto substittute for regular linguine in this dish.
Recipe ingredients I used.
Below you an see the simple ingredients I used which were Palmini linguine, fresh garlic cloves, fresh lemon (optional), can clams and fresh parsley.
You can make this recipe with other keto pasta like zucchini noodles, shirataki noodles, spaghetti squash etc. I personally love turnip noodles and think they would be great in this recipe.
How to make keto linguine with clam sauce.
As I mentioned above this keto past recipe should only take 15 minutes.
- Start by heating up a large skillet to medium heat. Add the butter and crushed garlic and saute for a minute or two.
- Next add the clams and the clam juice to the skillet and mix well. Let the clams cook for 2-3 minutes and in the meantime drain the Palmini noodles into a colander and rinse well with cold running water to get rid of the briny flavors.
- Now add in the noodles and cook for 3-5 minutes and let the linguine simmer and get tender. I like mine a little al dente but if you do not just cook them for a few minutes more.
- When they are done, take them off the stove. Season with salt and black pepper if you want and then sprinkle fresh parsley on top. Store leftovers in an airtight container. (Please scroll down to view the printable recipe card.)
Recipe tips and notes.
- You can serve the pasta with some lemon wedges on the side. Normally I would add lemon juice to the clam sauce but since the Palmini noodles have an acidic taste you don’t need it. However if you use other noodles add the juice of half a lemon when you add the clams.
- Some people use white wine with their clam sauce but I didn’t want to add more acid to this dish because of the Palmini noodles and would prefer the lemon juice. However if you wish to add that start with just a tablespoon or so and taste the sauce before adding the noodles.
- I would not skip the parsley as it add color and freshness to the dish.
- Also I like to sprinkle some grated parmesan cheese on top but that is optional.
- If you want to add bit of heat to this dish you can add hot pepper flakes to the sauce.

Palmini Linguine with Keto Clam Sauce Recipe
This low carb recipe for Palmini linguine and keto clam sauce is so easy and delicious. You just need a few ingredients and you have a keto seafood pasta dinner in just 15 minutes. The simple garlic clam sauce goes great with any keto pasta though.
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 can of clams
- 1 large clove garlic, crushed
- 1 can Palmini linguine
- 2 tablespoons parsley leaves (garnish)
- lemon wedges and parmesan cheese, optional
Instructions
- Get out a large skillet and heat to medium high heat. Add the butter and let it melt then add the crushed garlic. Saute for a minute until the garlic is fragrant.
- Add the clams and clam juice to the pan and cook for 3 minutes.
- While the clams are cooking, drain the Palmini noodles and rinse well with cold water. You want to get as much of the water from the can off the pasta as you can.
- Add the pasta to the pan and cook for 3-5 minutes until the noodles are cooked to your liking.
- Sprinkle the parsley leaves over top and serve. You can also add some grate parmesan which is optional.
- NOTE: You can place a wedge of lemon with each serving if you want. The linguine can sometimes have an acidic taste so the lemon is not necessary. However if you use a different kind of keto pasta you will want to add the juice of ½ lemon to the clam juice when making this dish.
