Hi, my name is Denise and I love food, family and all things related to a healthy life style. I’ve spent years dieting and am now at a place where I just want to find a healthy yet satisfying way of eating for life. I think I have found that through a modified Paleo eating style. When I want to lose weight (which is often) I lean to a more low carb eating. So most of my recipes may sound crazy but they are ones that I have perfected or modified but really enjoy. I hope you will enjoy them too.
When I’m not at home cooking (or on this website) I’m busy taking care of my wonderful family. I have a great husband, the best little boy there is, two wild and crazy in laws, step-kids, 2 grand babies, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, in laws and more. They are all very important to me and make up a big part of my life.
I always thought there was a “trick” or easier way to doing everyday tasks and I seem to be pretty good at figuring them out. That is why I called this site My Life Coobook. It is compilation of all the recipes, tips and “tricks” that make my life what it is and I’ve been blessed with a great life!
