You might love these sugar free mini pumpkin muffins with this frosting!

This is an update to one of my very first recipes which was this low carb cream cheese frosting. Because I also updated my mini low carb chocolate muffins I also needed to update this sugar free frosting recipe.
I’m so glad I did because they are both really good and I had forgotten about them. This keto creamy cheese frosting is so easy to make and 1 tablespoon has only 0.6g net carbs. It also makes a lot so you can use it on keto breakfast breads, muffins and other sweets.
5 Ingredients To Make This Frosting Keto
All you need to make this recipe is cream cheese, heavy cream, Swerve sweetener, vanilla extract and ChocZero maple syrup. If you don’t have ChocZero maple syrup you can use any sugar free maple syrup you want.
You can even use regular maple syrup but your carb count will go up significantly. It still would be considered lower carb though. You could also use a little more sweetener and some maple extract or more vanilla extract.
Let’s Make Some Low Carb Cream Cheese Frosting!
Get out your mixing bowl and cream together the cream cheese, Swerve sweetener, maple syrup and vanilla extract. Mix until creamy and then add in the heavy cream.
Whip it up until it looks like smooth and creamy like below.
Store the frosting in a sealed container in the refrigerator. This would be great on my keto chocolate zucchini bread or slow cooker pumpkin cake. Try it on low carb bagels too!
This recipe makes roughly a cup or 16 tablespoons and was adapted from Primal Palate’s recipe. It’s really quite easy and tasty. I hope you like it as much as I did.

What’s the net carb count?
Denise says
Hi Cheryl, this is such an old recipe I really need to redo it. Thanks for bring it to my attention! I calculated the net carbs and it’s about 2.4g net carbs per tablespoon. I’m sure I can remake this with less carbs now that I’ve been cooking this way for so long. I’ll try to update it this week if I have time.
