Sugar Free Chia Drink Ingredients
For this low carb chia drink recipe you need of course chia seeds, lemon juice, Swerve sweetener, raspberry extract and Torani sugar free raspberry syrup. I have a few other suggestions below if you don’t have these items so read on for that.
Note I used fresh lemons and raspberries merely as garnish and decoration only. You can certainly use fresh squeezed lemon juice but I used the bottle kind because it has no carbs and I was ultimately trying to keep the carbs down.
Step 1: First make your sugar free raspberry lemonade
To make the lemonade I mix bottled lemon juice with water, Swerve sweetener, raspberry extract and Torani sugar free raspberry syrup. Bot the extract and sugar free syrup really gave it a good raspberry taste without any sugar.
Mix all of these together pour into a jar.
Step 2: Then add the chia seeds
Stir in your chia seeds and refrigerate for a couple hours to plump up and absorb some of the liquid. I like to give them a stir every time I open the refrigerator to make sure they don’t clump.
