If you are looking for an easy keto snack or dinner try these fried pork chops strips with 3 delicious dipping sauces. They can easily be made in the air fryer or on the stove and the dipping sauces can be made ahead of time.
Today’s recipe is one that I used to make for football parties because it is the perfect low carb appetizer. However we love these fried pork chops strips so much we now eat them for dinner. With the different dipping sauces, this is a fun dinner as well as being keto and gluten free.
You can make the pork chop fries in the air fryer or in a skillet and it takes very little time. I think your family will love them as much as mine does.
What kind Of Pork To Buy?
For this recipe I used Smithfield All Natural Boneless Pork Chops. I often cook boneless pork chops during the week because they are so versatile and take little time to cook. Sometimes I bread and fry them or in the summer I tend to marinate and grill them.
I like Smithfield® products because of their high quality and they are Guaranteed Tender. That means they are USDA processed verified, hand-selected based on coloring and marbling, proudly raised in the USA and always fresh and never frozen. That’s a product I can feel good about! Also the All Natural Fresh Pork doesn’t have added steroids, hormones or artificial ingredients. By the way you can find Smithfield All Natural Boneless Pork Chops at Walmart.
I also make pork chops often because they are great for a low carb or keto meal. Check out Smithfield All Natural Pork recipe page. You can find lots of easy recipes for your weeknight or weekend meals.
Let’s Bread The Keto Pork Chop Strips!
- Make the keto breading which is simply ground pork rinds and parmesan cheese. Mix together and set aside.
- Cut the boneless pork chops into strips the size of a large fry.
- In a baggie, add the mayo and then some of the pork chop strips. Mix them around and then drop into the breading.
- Roll them in the breading to get them fully covered and then place on a plate.
- Continue with the rest of the pork chop strips.
Baking Them In The Air Fryer
This was my favorite way to make the strips. They came out the crispiest and took the least amount of time. Simply place the breaded strips in the basket of the air fryer. Set the temperature to 380°F for 10 minutes and then turn it up to 400°F for 5 minute or desired crispiness.
Making Them On The Stove Or In The Oven
In a large skillet heat up some oil to a medium high temperature. Place the pork chops strips in the hot oil and cook for a few minutes until nice and brown. Flip them over to do the other side.
I also tried these in the oven but I was not happy with the results. The breading did not stick as well and they didn’t get as crispy so I would suggest on the stove if you do not have an air fryer. I baked them at 400°F for 15 minutes.
The Low Carb Dipping Sauce Recipes
I made three low carb dipping sauces for these pork strips. I wanted them to have a variety of tastes so I made an easy roasted garlic aioli (recipe below), tomato jam and an avocado lime dipping sauce.
Easy Roasted Garlic Aioli Recipe
This was my favorite keto dipping sauce for these strips. I microwaved the garlic instead of roasting in the oven. It was much quicker and still had that great roasted garlic flavor.
Just add crushed garlic to a little olive oil and microwave for 1 minute. It should look like the bowl below, browned but not burnt. Then mix it with the mayo, dijon mustard, lemon juice and Parmesan cheese.
The avocado lime dipping sauce is a popular older recipe and so is the tomato bacon jam. Check out those recipes for the other dipping sauces with this dish. You could also try this jalapeno aioli or this buffalo aioli recipe for these keto fried pork chops fries.
Recipe Tips & Notes
- The pork chops strips should be made on the day you are eating them. Once refrigerated they lose their crispiness. However they are still tasty if you have leftovers.
- You can eat this recipe for a low carb dinner! That’s what we do now. It’s a lot of fun with the dipping sauces and if you want you can bread whole pork chops instead of strips.
- You can either use a baggie or a bowl for the mayonnaise. I liked the baggie so I could throw it away when done, but you have to make sure to get the pork strips well coated with mayo.
- You can add some spices to the breading if you want. I didn’t want them to compete with the sauces but try garlic powder, onion powder or cayenne powder.
This is a very easy and fun recipe and would be great for your next tailgate or football party. And remember to check out Smithfield All Natural Pork recipe page for more inspiration!

Susan
What can you use in place of pork rinds?
Denise
Hi Susan, You could use a combination of egg and then almond flour, parmesan cheese and spices. Check out this recipe and just use the breading for that.

Hope you like it!

In using pork rinds is that the bags at the store like chips or fresh?
Denise
Yes it’s the bag in the chip aisle. You need to crush them though. I do this in the food processor or you can try to crush them with a heavy pan or meat mallet. Whatever gets the job done! 🙂 Hope you like the recipe.
Tammy
Can Ranch be used instead of mayo ?
I’m not a fan of hot mayo
Denise
Hi Tammy, yes of course you can use ranch dressing. Hope you like it!
Denise
Dear Mike,
I apologize that my recipe instructions were incomplete. I do sometimes have problems with my recipe card not saving my instructions but this one was all my own fault. So thank you for bringing it to my attention.
I’ve fixed it and again I am so sorry that it was frustrating for you (as it would have been for me too).
Sincerely,
Denise
