These low carb boozy pops are a fun way to celebrate this summer. Take some of your favorite cocktails and cool off with a low carb pop instead of a drink. Tastes great without alcohol too! #AToraniVacation
THESE RECIPES WERE SPONSORED BY TORANI. ALL OPINIONS ARE MY OWN. MESSAGING BELOW IS INTENDED FOR AGES 21+.
We tend to hang out at the pool quite a bit in the summer. Whether we are on vacation or on a staycation. Summer is also a time when my hubby likes to have people over for drinks. While trying to concoct different low carb cocktails to enjoy poolside, I thought it would be fun to make them into pops.
So today I have for you some low carb boozy pops to add a little fun to your summer parties. Or you can grab a couple and enjoy by the pool on a Saturday afternoon. They are low carb and can be made without alcohol too. Plus I have lots of ideas for you to try!
Low Carb Drink Ingredients
When partaking in cocktails on a low carb diet it is best to stay away from beer and to limit your wine to dry ones. However liquor such as tequila, vodka and rum have no carbs but you have to watch what you mix them with. Here are some of my favorite low carb drink ingredients to play around with:
- coconut milk, almond milk and heavy cream for creamy drinks
- herbs and spices like mint, basil, stevia, fresh ginger or cinnamon
- Torani sugar free syrups in fruity flavors for fruit drinks, margaritas, etc
- lime, lemon, orange or grapefruit zest are great in salts for around the rim of a drink
- seltzer waters, sugar free soda, sugar free mixers or even flavored tea for low carb mixers
Low Carb Boozy Pops – Margaritas
This was our favorite pop because my hubby and I like our margaritas. I made an awesome jalapeรฑo Pineapple margarita awhile back that went over very well. The nice thing about margaritas is that it tastes great in just about any fruit flavor. I happen to have a vast collection of Torani sugar free syrups in fruit flavors so I made blue raspberry, strawberry, pineapple and lime margarita pops. All were delicious!
Creamy Low Carb Boozy Pops
I chose 2 creamy drink recipes to try today and they came out delicious as well! My husband preferred the Vodka Chata (like Rum Chata but with vodka) and I liked the White Russian (Kaluha & Cream). With the margarita pops I wanted it to be a bit icy but with the creamy drinks I added a some cream & gelatin for that creamy texture.
I hope you give these low carb boozy pops a shot this summer. There are so many other drinks you can make into tasty boozy pops like mojitos, pina coladas, rum punches and more. It really was quite easy using all of my Torani sugar free syrups and some of the other low carb ingredients I mentioned above.
To learn more about Torani syrups visit their , Facebook and Instagram pages.
NOTE: Most of Torani sugar free syrups have 0 carbs and 0 calories. However the pineapple and raspberry (not red raspberry) both have 1 carb per 2 tablespoons. So adjust your nutritional information accordingly. Nutritional information for 1 pop:
Margarita: 35 cals / 0 carbs (if using pineapple or raspberry add 2.5g carbs per pop)
Vodka Chata: 61 cals / 4.2g fat / 0.5g carbs / 0.2g fiber / 1.1g protein = 0.3g net carbs
White Russian: 61 cals / 4.2g fat / 1g carb / 0.6g fiber / 1.3g protein = 0.4g net carbs

What a fun and colorful way to have adult drinks at the pool! i love that there’s so much variation! We just spent the whole day at the pool today – next time I’ll have to make some of these to take and share!
Denise
Yes these would go over well with your friends!
Sues
Ahh so many fun options! I want to try all of these pops!!
Denise
Hi Sues,
There really are so many you can try. Just use similar quantities and you can play around with the syrups and different types of alcohols. I think a mojito or a rum punch would be nice…..or even a Pina colada.
Cathleen @ A Taste of Madness
This is such a good idea! Now a pop for the adults ๐ Also, love how you put them in ice. That’s a great way to photograph them without melting ๐
Denise
Yes I was taking photos on a very hot day (we haven’t had many of those this summer) so the ice was a must! Thanks for stopping by!
Leslie
You had me at boozy ๐ Oh man… I don’t now which flavor I want to start with!
Denise
Well you will just have to try them all!
Anne Lawton
These looks so fun and refreshing, just perfect for a summer get-together.

Those must be so much fun at a pool party! No glasses to fuss with!
Denise
I didn’t think of that…. great point!
Ashley @ Big Flavors from a Tiny Kitchen
This is SUCH a fun idea! Love how you’ve turned some of my favorite cocktails into less guilty dessert-y treats! Perfect for summer pool parties!
Denise
I need to make another batch and have a sequel!
lauren
These are SO fun!! I can’t wait to try them this summer when I’m not pregnant! The vodka chata is going to be first on the list!
Denise
You should try them with out the vodka. While the alcohol is fine, it’s not necessary and very tasty without it. Good luck with your pregnancy!
Kat Jeter
OMG I love this idea and I’m so excited that they are low carb!! Making my first batch this weekend ๐
Denise
Thanks Kat….I hope you like them!
Amanda Mason
What a FABULOUS idea! I love this! I’m by the pool a lot too and I’m in Phoenix…it’s hot!! I’ll enjoy these with alcohol and I know my kids will enjoy an alcohol free version! So versatile! Love it!
Denise
Yes you don’t want to give the kiddos the alcohol version but the non alcohol ones are very good too! You can make a nice fruit punch one for kids by using fruity herbal teas and Torani syrups. I’ve made a good one with passionfruit herbal tea and orange tangerine tea and then add Torani’s raspberry syrups. Yum!
fiona saluk
okay i LOVE spicy margaritas so I’m definitely making these. I’m assuming they melt quickly hence the ice in the glasses? What a fun summer-y idea I’m excited to try!
Denise
Hi Fiona, and yes they do melt rather quickly but I didn’t have any problems with them. I just used the glasses for the picture.
Marie โ Not Enough Cinnamon
Oooooh I need these pops in my life! All the flavors sound awesome ๐
Denise
Hi Marie, thanks! Torani has 37 different sugar free flavors and even more regular flavors so there is something for everyone.
Beth
Such a great idea for enjoying and relaxing by the pool! I love the margarita ones! Yum!
Denise
Margaritas were the easiest because you can make so many different fruit flavored margaritas and Torani has some good fruit flavors.
Lisa Huff
You had me at boozy! haha! Love all the colors! Such a great idea for a party and summer BBQs!
Denise
