What Is Low Carb Fathead Dough?
Fathead dough is low carb dough made mostly from cheese created by the people who made the movie “Fathead”. The basic dough is made up of mozzarella cheese, cream cheese, eggs and almond flour. Some recipes use coconut flour but I’ve been using almond lately.
You melt the mozzarella and cream cheese in the microwave and then add the eggs and almond flour. Sometimes like today I also add baking powder and from there you can add herbs and spices for flavor.
HOW TO MAKE FATHEAD DOUGH
- Start by melting the cream cheese and mozzarella in the microwave. This just takes a minute.
- In another bowl mix the almond flour, baking powder and spices. Then add the eggs.
- Mix the melted cheese mixture well and then add the egg mixture.
- Place in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.

How To Store And Freeze This Keto Pizza
To freeze this pizza for later cut it into pieces and individually wrap in foil. Or you can wrap a half of quarter pizza in foil and then place in a large baggie. To eat from frozen, just heat up in the microwave oven for 30 second intervals until heated through. It will seem really soft but will harden up as it cools.
You can store this low carb pizza in the refrigerator for a few days also.
Make It A Supreme Low Carb Pizza
A supreme pizza usually has an assortment of meats, mushrooms, green peppers, onions and black olives. To make this meat lovers into a supreme pizza, just slice your mushrooms, peppers, onions and olives very thin and add to the meat mix when making your pizza.
