I have been trying to find a way to incorporate more gelatin into my diet as that is supposed to be good for gut health. While I’m not a huge fan of gummy type candies, I did like these. Especially since they are a healthy candy! The added vitamin C doesn’t hurt either.
I adapted the recipe from Butter Believer’s Homemade Vitamin C Gummies recipe that you can find here.
I changed it around a bit. I used blueberries that I cooked down on the stove and used some Torani SF syrup as sweetener. The Vitamin C powder is tart which is necessary for a good gummy type candy to balance the sweetness. I’m not adding my recipe as it didn’t quite come out as I had hoped and Butter Believers looks pretty good. So once again here is her link to the recipe.
