This is a quick keto recipe for you today. I’ve been on a fat bomb kick ever since we’ve been cleaning up or diets. I find a fat bomb or two in the afternoon helps me keep going until dinner. They are very satiating and the perfect healthy fat snack!
For today’s keto chai fat bombs I used a tea from one of my favorite herbal teas as they seasoning along with coconut butter, coconut oil and grass fed butter. Id didn’t even add any sweetener but you can add a bit of stevia or your favorite sweetener if you wish.
Fat bombs and a great macro calculator.

Recipe ingredients I used.
Below you can see the actual products I used. The tea was Bengal Spice from Celestial Seasonings. It doesn’t have tea in it because it’s herbal but it has TONS of flavor and is very much like chai. I also used Kerrygold butter (which is from grass fed cows), coconut oil and coconut butter (coconut manna). Each of these had a slight sweetness to them so as I mentioned I ate mine sugar free. However if you want it a bit sweeter just add some stevia.
How to make keto chai fat bombs.
This is super easy to make. You just add all the ingredients to a small sauce pan and mix well. For the tea, I took it out of the bags and poured into the saucepan. I did not strain it from the oils when everything melted because I liked the texture and I wanted to get maximum flavor from the spices.
Then pour the mixture into ice cube molds. I can usually find these kinds of molds from the dollar store however I bought the stars from Target’s dollar bins. They are great for recipes like this. Freeze the fat bombs for about an hour and they should be ready.
Tip: These would taste great in a cup of tea or coffee. Just drop one in a blender with hot coffee or tea and blend until nice & creamy!
Other Fat Bomb Recipes To Try
These fat bombs have a higher fat content which is what you are looking for but I also have a lot of what I call freezer candy on this sight which I use as low carb treats. One of my favorites is my chocolate peanut butter candy and I even have a mint matcha coconut freezer candy. Check them out if you are looking for more fat bomb type recipes.
Well if you are a fan of the fat bombs I hope you enjoy this recipe. As I said above I don’t even add any sweetener and I like them. Each fat bomb has the following nutritional information:
45 cals / 4.7g fat / 0.4g carbs / 0.2g fiber / 0.1g protein = 0.2g net carbs
and the macros are for 1 piece:
96% fat / 3 % carbs / 1% protein

These look amazing! I’m about to try making them, however, I’m not clear on how this makes 14 servings. There’s only 6 tablespoons of ingredients, yet you pour them into an ice cube tray. How small is each cube? Given the number of ingredients
Denise
Hi Margaret, because I used those novelty ice cube trays they were pretty shallow. I was able to get 14 fat bombs from the 6 tablespoons. Your number might and probably will be different. So here is the total nutritional information and you can just divide these numbers by how many you get out of the recipe if that helps.
634 calories / 67.2g fat / 6g carbs / 4g fiber / 2g protein.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

So glad you liked them. I need to make some more and maybe refine them. Thanks for taking the time to comment!

I am curious why you don’t publish all the comments? I don’t typically make any recipe without ratings, but I did this one because it sounded like a creative recipe and I love chai lattes. I am assuming you are not getting the ratings you like??? I hope I am wrong though.

Chai Fat Bomb – a very creative idea, especially using Bengal Spice tea. Using the spices from the tea bag sure made it easy to make. Maybe with some alterations it would be better. The spices drop to the bottom and are not well distributed. The spices also are a bit crunchy, which did not appeal to me. Bravo for the idea though!

Hi Colette,
I’m sorry you didn’t like them. Maybe the next time I make them I will see how I can improve them. And as for not publishing comments, I do publish all comments unless they are spam. This particular post just hasn’t had any comments. Hope that clears things up!
