Way back in the day I used to go to Einstein Bagels with my dad and I would get an everything bagel veggie sandwich. I just loved that sandwich and often crave it but alas I don’t really eat bagels anymore.
So the other day I had an idea to make a burger with the everything spices and incorporate some type of cream cheese to get that Einstein’s veggie sandwich taste. That is, I wanted to make the burger taste a bit like a cream cheese smeared everything bagel and then pile it with veggies. And that is how this everything spice keto turkey burger came to be. I love it and I think you will too.
Where To Get This Everything Spice
Because of my love for that everything bagel sandwich, I was really excited when I started seeing the everything bagel spice everywhere. I have seen it at Aldi, Trader Joes and Fresh Thyme and you can even get it on Amazon.

So What Are The 3 Ingredients For This Turkey Burger?
Well obviously ground turkey, everything bagel spice and crumbled goat cheese. I thought the goat cheese would be similar to the cream cheese on a bagel and unlike cream cheese you can find it already crumbled.
How To Make An Everything Spice Keto Turkey Burger
There are 2 ways you can eat these: as a regular burger with toppings or 2 thinner burgers acting as the bun. The burger bun is my preferred way to eat this.
So the easiest way to make these burgers is to add the seasoning to the turkey meat and mix with your hands. Then add in the crumbled goat cheese and lightly mix through with your hands again.
Once the meat is mixed, divide it into 2 balls. Then to make the burger buns, cut the ball into 4 pieces and flatten into 4 thin patties. Do the same with the other ball for a total of 8 thin burger patties.
If you just want to make regular sized burgers like the one below, just divide the meat into 4 and make patties.
To cook the burgers, spray a non stick pan with cooking oil and then cook the burger for about 5 minutes on each side. Note you might have to cook it a few minutes more if you are making the regular size burgers.
Healthy Toppings For Your Keto Turkey Burger
I specifically wanted avocado, lettuce, red onion and tomato. However other great options would be thinly sliced sweet peppers, cucumbers, spinach, alfalfa sprouts, jalapenos, pickles, etc.
By the way, there is no reason you can’t use beef in this recipe. I specifically used turkey because it tends to be a little drier which I thought would be better with the goat cheese and have more of a bread like taste. But beef would work just as well. The nutritional information for 1 burger or 2 thinner burgers is:
285 cals / 20.5g fat / 0.5g carbs / 22.5g protein = 0.5g net carb
