Ingredients

  • 2 Passion fruit tea bags (I used Tazo brand)
  • 2 Tangerine Orange tea bags (I used Celestial Seasonings brand)
  • 2 Raspberry Pomegranate tea bags (I used Twinnings brand)
  • 3 sugar free Fruit Punch singe serving sticks (can use any brand)
  • ½ cup rum (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin- for the jello shots (I used Great Lakes brand)

Instructions

  1. To make the hurricane drink. Add 6 teabags to a large pitch and pour 6 cups of hot water over them.

  2. When cooled, add the fruit punch mix and mix well. Refrigerate until ready to drink. If you just want the cocktail it's done and ready to drink. For a cocktail add 1 ounce of rum for every 8 ounces of drink. Or as much or as little as you like for your tastes.

  3. To make the jello shots. Add ½ cup of the cold punch in a pyrex measuring cup. Sprinkle in gelatin and whisk until well combined. Let sit to bloom.

  4. Heat up 1 cup of the punch in the microwave or on the stove and then pour over the gelatin. Whisk until the gelatin is dissolved.

  5. Pour in the rum and mix again. Then pour into shot glasses and refrigerate for a few hours until set.

  6. NOTE: This recipe produces 20 gelatin shots and leaves you with approximately 4 cups of the punch left over.

Recipe Notes

If you are just make the drinks you will get about 6 drinks from this batch and each one will have roughly less than 70 calories and no carbs.

If you use the whole batch for just shots you will use 4 tablespoons of gelatin and 2 cups of rum to make 80 shots and each one roughly 16 calories and no carbs.
