Ingredients

  • 6 jalapenos, stem, seeds and ribs cleaned out
  • 3 mozzarella cheese sticks
  • 6 pieces bacon, thin cut

Instructions

  1. Take your jalapenos and cut off the tops. Use a knife to clean out the seeds and ribs. These contain the heat of the pepper.

  2. Cut the cheese sticks in half and stuff into the jalaepnos. You might have excess cheese sticking out. If so cut it so it's flush with the top of the pepper. You can try to cut it and stuff into the side if you wish.

  3. Take a piece of bacon and at the end, cover the whole side of the pepper. Then carefully wrap around the pepper. You can try to mold the bacon around the pepper by squeezing with your hands. The bacon should stick together.

  4. Place seam side down in the Air Fryer basket and cook on 400°F for 10 minutes. If the bacon is not as crispy as you like, flip them over and try a few more minutes.

  5. Serve immediately.

If you don't have an air fryer, try baking them in the oven. Preheat oven to 400°F. Follow all the instructions but place on a baking sheet and cook for 15-20 minutes in the oven. You can broil them at the end if you wan the bacon more crispy.
