If you are craving some warmth and spicy in a drink, give this spicy turmeric & ginger drink a try. It's full of healthy ingredients and taste and it's only 3.2g net carbs per serving.

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons fresh turmeric root, grated
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger root, grated
  • 2 cups almond milk
  • ΒΌ teaspoon black pepper
  • liquid vanilla stevia to taste

Instructions

  1. Grate turmeric and ginger root.

  2. To a saucepan add milk, grate ginger and turmeric root and pepper. Bring to a simmer for 5 minutes.

  3. Strain into mugs and add stevia to taste.  (I like SweetLeaf Vanilla Creme)
