Low Carb Cheesy Biscuit Pie

Recipe: Low Carb Cheesy Skillet Bread

Ingredients

  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 1/2 cup flax seed meal
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 salt
  • 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 butter
  • 3/4 almond milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  2. Spray pie pan with cooking spray.
  3. In a bowl, mix almond flour, flax meal, baking powder, salt and 1 cup cheese.
  4. In a separate bowl melt butter. Let it cool a few minutes and then add beaten eggs and milk.
  5. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix to combine.
  6. Pour into pie plate and sprinkle remaining cheese on top.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes so that the top is golden brown.
  8. Let cool for 15 minutes.
