Bacon Blue Cheeseburger Salad

Low carb bacon blue cheese burger salad for when you're craving a burger but not the carbs. Even if you aren't counting carbs, this burger salad is yum!

  • 1 Tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 pieces of uncured bacon
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 4 oz grass fed ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon Montreal Steak Seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons crumbled blue cheese
  • 2 cups Romaine lettuce chopped
  • 2 slices red onion


  1. Brown your ground beef in a skillet.
  2. Sprinkle with Montreal steak season and continue to cook until done.
  3. In a separate skillet, brown your bacon.
  4. While the bacon and meat are cooking, prepare your dressing by whisking the lemon juice, olive oil and salt and pepper.
  5. Taste and add more lemon or oil if needed.
  6. Prepare your salad base by chopping the lettuce and vegetables to your liking.
  7. Toss your salad with the dressing.

  8. Top with as much ground beef mixture as you like. We used about ΒΌ lb of meat per salad and kept the rest for the next day.
  9. Next crumble your bacon and top with blue cheese.
  10. Enjoy!
