Slow cooker Italian sausage and peppers is an easy and versatile dish. Eat it on a bun or over pasta. Or for a low carb meal eat as is or over zucchini noodles.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Italian sausage links we like sweet and hot
  • 1 28 oz can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon crushed garlic
  • 1 ½ cups sliced onions
  • 4 cups sweet peppers we like a mix of green, red, yellow and orange
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Add all your ingredients to a slow cooker. Mix to incorporate the crushed tomatoes over everything.
  2. Cook on low all day or at high temps if you need it quicker.
  3. Serve on rolls, pasta or eat as is.
