Ingredients

Pumpkin Carrot Pops

  • ½ cup yogurt (plain, unsweetened)
  • ½ cup pumpkin, plain unsweetened
  • 1 carrot, raw

Berry Coconut Pops

  • ½ cup yogurt (plain, unsweetened)
  • 1 cup berries (strawberries and blue berries) fresh or frozen
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil

Peanut Butter Banana Pop

  • ½ cup plain
  • 1 banana (not too ripe)
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter (no sugar added brand)

Instructions

  1. Depending on what pop you want to make, add all the ingredients to a high speed blender and process until smooth and creamy. (note that this makes 3 pops for each flavor.

  2. Pour or spoon into small Dixie cups and either a popsicle stick or a firm dog treat stick. You can also use without a stick but it can get messy.

  3. Freeze over night. To get out of container either squeeze out or run hot water around the base and it should pop out.

  4. Serve outside or somewhere you don't mind it getting messy.

Recipe Notes

Note 1: You can take the popscile stick end of the pop and put it into the ground so your dog and lick on it's own.

Note 2: For a firm dog treat stick, I used dog dental sticks from Aldi. You want a firm treat so that you can hold your pop without it falling over.

Note 3: For the yogurt and peanut butter make sure to buy products that have no added sugar and not artificial sweeteners. I bought a nautral peanut butter and Greek unsweetened yogurt from Aldi.

Note 4: When choosing berries keep it to strawberries, blueberries, blackberries or raspberries. Cherries are dangreous to dogs. As for the bananas I like to use slightly green bananas because I don't think my pup needs more sugar.
