Keto Pan Fried Steak with Spinach & Sun Dried Tomatoes

This keto pan fried steak with spinach and sun dried tomatoes is an easy and tasty low carb dinner that will make you feel like you were in a restaurant! Each serving has only 1.9g net carbs!

Ingredients

  • 3 strip steaks (I used semi boneless strip steaks)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoons oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 4 basil leaves, chopped
  • 4 cups spinach, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons goat cheese, crumbled

Instructions

  1. 3-5 minutes each side steak

    saute garlic, tomatoes, basil for 1 minutes and then add the spinach and turn off. Fold in cheese.  3 servings

  2. Heat up a cast iron skillet to medium heat. Sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides of the steak.

  3. Add butter to the skillet and when it starts to sizzle place your steak into the pan. Let it stay there for about 3 minutes and then flip and cook for 2-5 minutes depending how cooked you want your steak. Baste the steak with the melt butter while it's cooking.

  4. In the meantime, get another skillet going with olive oil and garlic. Once the garlic is fragrant, add in the tomatoes and basil and cook for 1 minute. 

  5. Then start adding in the spinach until it starts to shrink and then add some more. Once all the spinach is all in the pan and wilted take off of the stove.

  6. Fold in the goat cheese and wait for the steak to be done. Place some fo the spinach mixture on the plate and then place the steak on top. Add more spinach to the top if you wish. 

  7. You can also  serve the spinach as a side dish as it is. If you don't care about carbs it would be great mixed with rice or pasta too.
