Low Carb Witch Finger Breadsticks

For all your Halloween fans, try these low carb witch finger breadsticks! Using a gluten free dough, herbs and spices you will have a hauntingly delicious appetizer for your next Halloween party. Only 1.5g net carbs per stick.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese
  • 4 tablespoons coconut flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 4 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil, minced
  • marinara sauce, optional for dipping
  • 12 almond slivers or pumpkin seeds (for fingernails)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

    Stir well to make sure the cheeses are melted and then add in the flour and egg.


  2. Add mozzarella, cream cheese, crushed garlic and minced basil to a microwaveable bowl. Mix and then cook for 1 minute in the microwave.

  3. Stir well to make sure the cheeses are melted and then add in the flour and egg.

  4. Mix well by using your hands if you have to. 

  5. Spray a cookie sheet with cooking spray. Break off pieces of the dough and roll into a long finger shape. Take a sliver of almond or pumpkin seed to make the fingernail. Continue with the rest of the dough. 

  6. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the dough begins to brown.

  7. Let cook and then eat.
