This Chicken Chickpea Chili is a super easy and tasty dish that only takes minutes to make. The combination of homemade salsa verde, chicken and chickpeas make for a hearty, delicious meal.

  • 2 cups salsa verde from my previous recipe
  • 2 cups canned chickpeas
  • 1 cup chopped cooked chicken
  • cilantro to garnish


  1. Add salsa verde and chickpeas to a pan.
  2. Heat for about 10 minutes.
  3. Add chopped chicken until it's heated through. About 5 minutes.
  4. Serve with cilantro as a garnish. Can also use avocados, chopped onions or sour cream.
  5. Please note my recipe for Salsa Verde is pretty spicy so omit 1 jalapeƱo if you wish it to be less spicy.
