keto candied pecans

These make a great gift or sugar free snack.  Just 15 minutes to make and 2g net carbs!

You just need 3 ingredients. • raw pecans • butter • Swerve brown sugar sweetener or Lakanto golden sweetener

Using a large skillet melt the butter and sweetener. Mix well with a whisk to make the sweetener dissolve.

Once the sauce comes together add the pecans and mix to coat all of the nuts. Cook until the nuts start to brown and you can smell them roasting.

You should contine to mix them every few minutes to make sure they don't burn. The whole process should only take 15 minutes.

Cover a cookei sheet with wax paper. Pour the pecans on top and spread out the nuts to air dry.

When nuts are fully dried, store in a sealed container or jar. I like to keep mine in the refrigerator so they last longer.
