Recently I spent the day with my sister Patti and good friend Lisa down at Pittsburgh’s Strip District. This Strip district has developed into a historic market district that has many ethnic food purveyors, some art studios, antique dealers, unique boutiques, and other businesses. This is the place for Pittsburgh foodies. Some of my favorite things to buy down there are fresh fish, sausages and meats, as well as unusual produce, homemade pasta and bread … all at great prices.
Pictured above are some prickly pears that I bought. They were only 2 for $1…you can’t beat that! Â Check out some of the other good buys I found there.
